La Paz Waterfall Garden : This gallery contains photos from the La Paz Waterfall Gardens in Costa Rica. It was raining the entire time I was shooting. About the only place that was dry was the building with the butterflies in it. I had no flash and no tripod with me on this trip, so I had to shoot with a high ISO setting to get enough light to shoot. I had to keep wiping my lens off just to keep it dry between the rain and the mist collecting on it when I was trying to shoot around some of the waterfalls. You will see some waterfall pictures have some mist that I simply could not avoid. This was a very tough shoot! In any case, the La Paz Waterfall Gardens is a gorgeous place! Tabacon Hot Springs, Costa Rica : This gallery contains photos from the Tabacon Hot Springs resort in Costa Rica. This was a very difficult shoot. Between the mist from the hot springs and the fact that it was raining the whole time I was there, I had to constantly wipe water off my camera and lenses. I never had any problems with my camera despite all the moisture (I love my Canon EOS 5D)! I did not have a tripod or flash with me, so these were all taken hand-held with natural lighting and at high ISO speeds (hence the graininess). Click on the large photo to see an even larger image.
